Domain registration companies are being really creative when it comes to advertise their domains suffixes. Every day is more and more common to use the social media to make themselves known. Thus, many of these companies have channels on Twitter, Facebook and even a YouTube video channel; in fact, the ICANN is present in all types of social networks.
A few weeks ago we shared some videos by the .CO Internet SAS on why register a .co domain. Today is the turn of the Canadian Internet Regitration Authority (CIRA), the operator responsible for the .ca extension (Canada).
A few months ago, the CIRA organized a contest called Show Us Your.CA, a competition restricted to users of the .ca extension in which they had to make a video related to their own domain name. Here you have the video winner of the contest, Portable Radio’s. CA Rocks!:
